Ok so after the rescan I was hoping to find this channel as it states on website www.starttv.com that it is available is the SLC area at 8.3? Is anyone getting this?

The only 8's I know of are KQTI Ogden and its simulcast partner KUTA Logan. David reported that the channel number for KQTI is reporting as 31.3 and 31.4 rather than 8.1 and 8.2. Probably a lack of PSIP info being broadcast. You can check 8 and 31, but if you weren't getting it before you probably won't be getting it now.

I did a re-scan this Monday after KSL switched frequencies, and KQTI has moved back to 8.1 & 8.2. 8.1 is YouToo America, and 8.2 is the Biz Network. The 8.3 Start TV affiliate in Utah is a KCSG sub-channel according to this list: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Start_TV#Affiliates

Oh duh. Of course. KCSG is owned by Weigel now and Starttv is also owned by Weigel. I was thinking Salt Lake stations instead of Salt Lake DMA stations. Now if we could just get them to convince some of the stations that are wasting spectrum in Salt Lake to carry some of this stuff we'd be in good shape.
