Extension of Silent Period for Hurricane Stations

The FCC has announced that beginning Sept. 6th, it's granting stations in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands which were damaged by Hurricanes Irma and Maria an additional six months to remain silent and make repairs. Some areas of Puerto Rico are still without power, in addition to stations having damaged antennas and/or transmitters:
