I'm not sure the title of the article is actually correct. The piece itself I think is more correct. It really doesn't make sense to sell the stations to Sinclair and then turn around and sell them again to Fox. It makes more sense to just sell them directly, unless there is accounting and legal nonsense I'm not aware of. Either way it ends up with Fox.
As I said in the previous thread, KSTU has retained what I consider Fox sensibilities so I wouldn't expect too much of a change in the 13.1 programming. Possibly a little more sensationalism in the news, but there's really only so far you can go in this market without self destructing IMO.
The subchannels are an interesting thought that I hadn't considered. The Fox O&O's in New York and LA carry Movies!, LightTV, Buzzr and H&I. Movies is already pretty well covered on KUCW. LightTV is on 10.5/20.5 the second of which is a full service station. Buzzr is on low power 23.7 and could probably use an upgrade. H&I has been MIA for some time since it got pulled from the mostly dysfunctional feed on 19.5/8.1. I think AntennaTV has a good chance of either staying put or if it's dropped should get picked up by somebody else pretty quickly. I wouldn't be surprised to see H&I added. They could drop the duplicate of Charge that's on 13.4 without too much of a problem. Other thoughts?
