This seems like a non-story to me. There are lots of online Christmas music streams available year round already and have been for some time. Christmas stunting pretty much anytime when a terrestrial station flips has also been around a while. There's also been a tradition at some stations of playing a Christmas song when the temperature hits a certain point in the summer. (CBS-FM New York had a tradition going back at least a couple of decades of playing a Christmas song the first time the temperature hit 101, since they're at 101FM.)

The only logical Christmas song lyrics for a station at 101 FM at 101 degrees would be: "I'm Mister Green Christmas, I'm Mister Sun. I'm Mister Heat Blister, I'm Mister 101. They call me Heat Miser, whatever I touch Starts to melt in my clutch. I'm too much." christmas-specials.wikia.com/wiki/Snow_%26_Heat_Miser_Song

You have got to be kidding me . . . there's Christmas music streams online 365 days a year and people actually listen?! I'd rather listen to the collected works of Julis LaRosa or Lou Reed's Metal Machine Music every day of the year than hear holiday tunes in the middle of July. Personally I think flipping to all Christmas anytime before the first week in November is overkill, but apparently there's no accounting for taste these days.
