Not sure if this is the correct forum to post this, but if not I'm sure CA will move the thread where it belongs. Anyway, the FCC AM (and probably FM as well) station query will be off-line from now until 8:00 AM Eastern Time Sept. 8th while Uncle Charlie's IT team works on modernizing the agency's legacy infrastructure. Happy Labor Day weekend to all!

This is absolutely the right board to post this on, so no problems there.
The funny thing about the queries being off line is that the actual database is still available when I write this. You just have to access it directly, which I've been doing for years. I'm not sure why the main query page is redirecting saying it's not available when it is (for now.) But this is the FCC we're talking about. It's going to be interesting to see what looks different on the other side, though I'm expecting more of the same nonsense. Maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. *shrug*

Update: The backend server has now been taken offline and is redirecting to the shutdown page as well.

For anyone who cares, the FCC did finally get the database back online. Everything should be working now.
