I don't think that anyone's personal information is private anymore, especially not if you buy and sell on line. Like the joke says, there are two kinds of people in the world: those who have been hacked and those who don't know they've been hacked. The recent attack on the OPM computer system where anywhere from 4 to 14 million individuals had their personal information stolen by Chinese hackers is pretty solid proof that no one is safe anymore, although you have to give the 38 states who participated in the Radio Shack privacy lawsuit credit for trying.
