The filing for KBMG to move from 106.1 to 106.3 has been filed for the boosters but not the main. I find that odd. Any reason anyone can think of to not file all 5 at the same time?

The filing for the main was done 9 days after the boosters, but it's there now. All the apps for KNRS-FM and KAAZ-FM are already approved, so the shifts might be happening within a few months.

CA, you should join up on the Utah Radio Chat group on Facebook. Barry which is the CE of Iheart here in SLC gave a timeline when they switch the frequencies

To say that Facebook and I don't get along would be an understatement. Thank you, but I don't think I'll be doing anything over there.
Is there any information that can be repeated here?

Here is what he said "We're planning on changing 106.5 to 106.7 on August 6th. No firm date on the 105.7 to 105.9 change but we're looking at the 1st full week of October."

Thanks for passing that along. Rock 106.5's ratings have started to get some good traction so hopefully this won't disrupt it too much. The next round of ratings are due out later today so we'll see if that has continued. Maybe this is the excuse local management needs to give a real advertising blitz to announce the change and get more people to sample the station.
