Yep, weather's gone and ThisTV seems to be back full time in Salt Lake. It's been a while since KUTV2.2 was running a full schedule of This, so I guess this is good news for fans of the shows that This was carrying that weren't being shown here.
Meanwhile WeatherNation is still available on KTVX4.3.

I loved watching This TV on 2.2 when it was run full time. I'm glad that 5.3 picked it up. Still miss the weather. Any chance it can move to 5.4?

I would say not without significantly degrading the other streams. You can see what happens when you have a 720p HD and 3 SD streams if you look at KTVX. The bits are stretched too thin there and KSL's HD is 1080i which takes more bits.

Thanks for the heads up on this switch! I checked Comcast channel 105 this AM, and ThisTV has indeed replaced KSL Weather Plus--cool! Now I can get my fix of Highway Patrol, Sea Hunt, and (especially) The Outer Limits again. The very first episode of The Outer Limits ("The Galaxy Being") where Cliff Robertson plays a radio station engineer that makes contact with an alien while doing microwave research is a classic! KUTV 2.2 loss is KSL 5.3 gain! Whatever the dreck is that's now on KUTV 2.2 (I think it's MyNetworkTV) is just wasted air time IMHO. Thank You KSL for CoziTV and bringing back ThisTV to Salt Lake City!

MyNetworkTV isn't even a network. It's a syndication service that some stations use for 2 primetime hours. KMYU/KUTV2.2 is really an independent, though they did run ThisTV on some off hours and weekends.
