And now the latest from Nielsen.....
KSL came back down to earth this month.
KSOP-FM's spike in Oct shows to be an anomaly.
Rock 106.5 slips to pretty much where it was a few months back.
For the second month in a row ESPN 700 isn't reported. I heard them proclaiming themselves as Utah's #1 sports station just the other day. I wonder how they can make that claim.
Sunny 103 was All Christmas for a few days during this rating period. The next one (Nov 6-Dec 3) will be interesting. The post-Thanksgiving part will only be a few days, so most of it will be pre-Thanksgiving. I'll be interested to see how many people found it and were interested enough to listen to Christmas that early. Then for the Holiday period we'll see whether that strategy pays off.

I'm happy to see KBZN 97.9 doing so well. They have an extremely limited playlist, but it seems to work for them.

KSOP is still beating The Bull quite handily.. I'm sure they're jacked about that!

I'm not sure I'd call a third of a point "handily" but a win is a win. I remember when The Bull used to clean the clocks of everyone else in the format. Things sure have gone downhill quite a bit since then. If Cumulus corporate decides to rebrand 93.3 as Nash that might finish them off. I wonder if they will.

CA, you seem to never give KSOP any credit where credit is due.. A mom and pop station going up against the big boys and winning.. I think it is pretty badass..

I can assure you that wasn't my intention. KSOP-FM has made great strides in the last year, increasing their share by in the neighborhood of a full point. There's clearly something going on there that people like, and you should all be commended for that. I also think that being a mom-and-pop going against the huge corporate conglomerates is a competitive advantage for you, but that's just my opinion.
