I kept forgetting to check, but tonight KEGH is off 106.9 from Cache County and on 107.1 from Humpy. At least the Bountiful and Salt Lake boosters are still off but all the boosters are licensed. It's still running a simulcast of 101.5/105.1 The Eagle. Watch for the boosters to light up soon followed by a new format.

KEGH has been granted an FCC construction permit to change the city of license to Woodruff, Utah, move to a new transmitter site, move to 107.1 MHz, increase ERP to 89,000 watts and decrease HAAT to 647 meters.

Yes, this move is a part of the infamous Docket 05-243 that was approved in January 2008. You can search for "05-243" and get more on it.

Sounds like the boosters are on now, at least the Salt Lake booster is on. They're still simulcasting The Eagle's country music.

On my car radio, 107.1 is coming through loud and clear everywhere from downtown SLC to Provo. It actually sounds a little better than 101.5.
KAUU 105.1 is perfectly clear from West Jordan to Provo (and clear with slight static in downtown SLC). Has KAUU moved its COL from Manti to American Fork already? The top-of-the hour station ID goes so fast that I cannot understand it. IF so, is the Eagle still audible in Manti?
Since the 107.1 frequency is not including in the Eagle's branding (and neither was 106.9), I assume that this three-way simulcast will be going away, but I have found it interesting that the 107.1 frequency has separate advertisements than the other frequencies. 107.1 ads are focused on Logan. Since there are boosters all along the Wasatch that seem to be live, I assume the Logan focus will be going away when the new format launches. But when?

I listened to 107.1 a bit yesterday afternoon, around 3, in American Fork and got silence, Pilot was on but no audio. I'll check again later today.

Bountiful booster confirmed on too. It seems like there's a bit more stereo separation on 107.1 than 101.5. Maybe a hint at the direction it will go once the stunting/testing ends?
If you're getting slight static on 105.1 downtown there's no way it's moved yet. The American Fork COL is a move to Farnsworth. Also for them to move, KNRS-FM has to slide up to 105.9, which requires the 106.1 to 106.3 move, which requires 106.5 to move to 106.7. That last one is (more) possible now that 106.9 has moved. I'm pretty sure it's going to be major news when those next dominoes fall.
When 106.9 was up in the Logan area they were not a 100% simulcast of 101.5/105.1. The most interesting part of the split to me was that they carried ESPN coverage of the baseball playoffs. That never made much sense to me, but that was the only local station I could find carrying them a few times. I could see whatever separate automation system was running it when it was up in Cache Valley might still be running it, maybe for contractual reasons.
There's no way 101.5 and 107.1 are going to continue simulcasting. That would be flying-rodent-poo crazy. Their signals are virtually identical. The main signals are exactly identical, even from the same antenna. Also remember that 107.1 and 105.1 are on the auction block as part of the Simmons divestiture trusts. Any possibility Simmons takes them back now that their other stations have been sold to Broadway Media?
Very complex situation here right now.

At the moment they are not simulcasting 101.5. They are running ESPN radio. It may be a simulcast of AM700.

I confirmed that it is a simulcast of ESPN700. The legal ID has both KALL and KEGH with its new COL of Woodruff. The branding at the moment hasn't changed to include the 107.1 frequency, so it's unclear if this is more stunting or if 107.1 will be going ESPN permanently. There's also no indication that I can find of a filing for a callsign change to KALL-FM, which I would expect if this is what the new format will be.

I can confirm that too. I had no idea this was going on but here in Evanston I am getting the 107.1 from Humpy and it's a simulcast of KALL 700.

Michael, the other stations you should watch out for in this move are 107.9 and 95.9, 106.1 moving to 106.3, and KDWY 105.5 & KADQ 98.3 moving to Humpy. I think that's everything for you out that way, but I don't feel like reading through the whole docket right now.
