According to RadioInsight (http://radioinsight.com/blog/blogs/90456/fox-sports-radio-bringing-a-blueprint-for-a-revamped-talk-format/), Fox Sports Radio is adding a significant amount of non-sports talk to their lineup starting in November. This does differentiate them from the very crowded field of national sports networks, but how much does that alienate the listeners who tune in for sports and does it bring in any new listeners who want talk but not sports? More importantly for this market, how does that affect KJQS/KFNZ who have the Fox Sports Radio franchise?

KFNZ has been a CBS Sports affiliate for awhile now. Fox Sports has been out of this market for over a year, so this move won't have much effect here unless someone switches. Sounds kind of interesting, though. I'll probably check out the stream.

When I checked in on KJQS Friday they were running something from CBS Sports Radio too, so my information was out of date. Thanks for the correction. I can't keep all these sports stations straight. They all sound the same to me.
