Let me say upfront that I support LPFM. I think it's a good thing.
That said, I really worry about some of the applicants who clearly have zero clue about radio engineering. Case in point: application 20131114BOQ. This is what they said when they amended the application more than 3 months later:
"THE RESPONSE TO QUESTION 3(B) IN THIS SECTION (I) WAS ORIGINALLY THE LATITUDE AND LONGITUDE OF THE ANTENNA LOCATION (26.582449,-80.098822).
IT HAS COME TO OUR ATTENTION THAT IT SHOULD REFLECT THE CITY IN WHICH THE ANTENNA IS LOCATED: LANTANA, FL.
THIS AMENDMENT IS TO REFLECT THAT. THE ANSWER WILL NOW BE: LANTANA, FL"
Can you imagine the kind of havoc people like this are going to play on other licensees if they get approved?

The application has fortunately been dismissed. These clueless people didn't even come close to the minimum spacing requirements they needed.
Dodged a bullet on that one.
