Sounds like the Humpy stations are off air.

And now they're back on air.
Among the stations that were off the air was 107.9. Is it on Humpy now?

KUDD has a construction permit to move to Humpy, but I'm not aware of any of those moves from Docket 05-243 in this area that have happened yet.

I've often wondered.... Does the Power Company drive up to all these sites every month, or do they have some sort of (honest-to-gosh) remote monitoring, to check power consumption? Not just the "drive-by metering", but a way to check if the power is on, and how much is being used, in real time. It'd be interesting to know if stations are really broadcasting regularly from remote sites, and would be interesting to know if certain AM stations really power-down at sunset.

One way to do it would be a monitor on the feed line that goes up the mountain. They know how much of a draw the site should take. If it's way off, something's up.
