Deseret News may try to get a good picture of the work (or, the results) from the chopper today.

They are running way behind schedule, due to several different reasons. This may easily go into the weekend.

"Radio From Hell" opined about this on Wednesday's show. They were receiving texts from places like Morgan and Utah County about reception issues. I guess they had to work on the FM's during the day time hours after all?

The work is all supposed to be between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM. TV all goes to low power, but FM's move to different antennas (main/standby) and different power levels during those hours, depending on where they are working....there's a huge RFR Report that maps it all out. If you've ever been up there, there are even "hot spots" labeled on the ground, where you can't loiter.
They are hoping to be done today (Saturday).

I was having some problems last week (the first week of the work) with several FM's, but it was after 8PM. Maybe there's something else going on.

Maybe the unterminated new FM antennas were causing a little distortion of the pattern on the existing antenna.
