utahradionews.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=general&action=display&thread=2745If that poster is correct, Clark Howard has been moved to 10 pm to 1 am, when Phil Hendrie airs here in Seattle. That would make KSL and KIRO following similar schedules (local from morning news to 10 pm M-F and recorded after)... any thoughts? Note: I know KSL carries Sean H. 1 pm to 4 pm, which here we are local all day.

It's for real. Clark is on at 10 for good.
Guess who is now done with listening to KSL after 9:59 PM?

really miss Phil Hendrie. I know his show has gone in a different direction and surprised no-one in SLC has picked it up.

Clark Howard has been bounced all over the place over the last 10 years. When I first heard him he was on KSL from 7 to 10PM I think. Then there was a lot of shuffling and the schedule wasn't consistent from one night to the next. Then he was used as weekend filler. Then he resurfaced in afternoons on KUTR 820 Part 1 (the women's talk format). Then he went back to KSL overnight. Now he's back late evenings. I probably missed something in there somewhere, so sorry about that. Hendrie I think is an acquired taste. I found him on the old 97.5 FM Talk shortly before his retirement. It was definitely interesting, though I could understand why a lot of people wouldn't "get" him. Wouldn't surprise me if that's part of the reason why he's not on here. And where would he fit? I don't think there's much chance at all that KSL or KNRS would pick him up. KLO might work. They have a few mavericks on the air (Dennis Miller, Michael Savage), so that's a possibility. I think it would be a lot better than the Midnight Radio Network overnights. (Are they getting paid to run that?) And since this is a Utah board about radio, I'll point out that KZNU in St George is listed as a Hendrie affiliate.
